Included are the legacy MEA Reports issued prior to July 2008. Effective on this date, MEA reports are no longer required for “code prescribed” products that conform to approved standards. “Code Prescribed” products must be tested at “recognized” third-party testing labs (See link for legacy approved Testing Agencies).

Firestop products manufactured by Specified Technologies Inc. are “code prescribed” and conform to stated New York City requirements. Thus, no MEA report is required.
