LEVEL II Training
CONTINUING EDUCATION
This Level II class is registered with the American Institute of
Architects for 15 Learning Units (LU's). This program addresses
issues concerning Health, Safety, or Welfare of the Public. There
will be a sign in sheet at each training for your convenience and
we will submit your LU's for you.
In addition, the Wisconsin Department of Commerce, Safety &
Buildings Division (Course ID #6781) offers continuing education
credit (CEUs) for Firestop Instructional Training, Level II.
This course is also recognized for CEC's with BICSI. The Level II
program qualifies for BICSI CEC's for RCDD, LAN Specialists, OSP
Specialist, Residential and/or Installation. The course offers RCDD
and Inst 14 CEC's.
The Level II program is designed to develop resident firestop experts
who can return home and inspect the completed work of others for
compliance. Tuition covers attending both days of training. This
competency-based course is taught at a two-day workshop, including
a day of classroom instruction and a half-day, hands-on lab.

FIT™ Advanced Trainer-Train the Trainer Option
Those who attend this seminar as a trainer and receive a passing score
on their exam can become a FIT™ Certified Train
theTrainer*. They will receive a Trainer's Curriculum Kit*, and are
asked to sign a confidentiality agreement prior to receiving their
training materials.
Being a trainer allows you to train others in your organization or
related field to receive a Level I Certificate. You will train these
individuals based on the curriculum in the Level I Trainers Curriculum
Kit. The kit is furnished in a three-ring binder and consists of the
following:
* Provided that the passing score is achieved on exam and a trainer
agreement is returned.
*FIT™ Level II certificate
*The trainer’s agreement
*The instructor's guide
*Printed presentation notes
*Printed Level I exam
*A CD-ROM disk that contains the Level I Presentation, exam and other
handouts
*UL exercise handouts (Optional exercise – Time permitting)
