Its water-resistant polymer base tightly binds its ingredients so that its Intumescent power goes around the pipe where it belongs and not in the installer's eyes. Factory-manufactured restraining collar metal work is available in a variety of standard widths eliminating the need to graft or piece together single width designs into cumbersome and labor-intensive field-manufactured collars.

Fully Tested: BLU Wrap Strip is UL® Classified for plastic pipe applications up to and including 4 hours. Fully tested to the requirements of ASTM E814 and UL1479, SpecSeal BLU Wrap Strip is a unmatched combination of power, performance and economy.
