The SpeedFlex Joint Profile is a new concept in joint sealing. With the SpeedFlex System, you install the seal over the joint rather than within it. As installed the V-shaped profile is compressed so that as the joint opens or closes, the joint seal simply flexes rather than having to stretch or contract.
Designs utilizing the SpeedFlex Joint Profile combined with SpecSeal® AS200 Elastomeric Spray have been UL tested and Classified for up to ±100% movement.
Installed over the joint rather than in it also means that the SpeedFlex Joint Profile can be used to repair cracked joints without having to remove the existing seals!
