Penetrant Heat-Sinking Device
The SpecSeal® T-Collar Device consists of a high-tech polymer based coolant wrap enclosed in a protective steel restraining collar. The device is secured directly to metal conduits and pipes on the top of the floor or both sides of a wall. Used in conjunction with an approved system with SpecSeal® Firestop Products, the device is capable of providing T Ratings up to 2 hours.
SpecSeal® T-Collar Devices have been successfully tested in conjunction with SpecSeal® Firestop Products in accordance with ASTM E814, ANSI/UL1479, and CAN/ULC S115 in one, two, and three hour fire-rated floor and wall assemblies. Consult factory for individual system designs and application requirements.
